North Reading's new President Doug Mercurio is in stalled along with 47 other Rotary Presidents for the year 2010-2011. Priscilla Gottwald and Doug Mercurio enjoy the dinner. Doug liked his tea but we don't know about Priscilla's wine. It could be good or bad. Doug slowly sips his tea. In the back ground is Keith Harris from the Ipswich Club and the printer of the new directory. Past District Governor Jonathan Bursaw installs Steve May as our new District Governor for 2010-2011 as PDG Thomas R. Elliott looks on. District Governor Ingrid Brown passes her Governor's Pin on to Steve May. He in turn gave her her Past District Governors pin.
Still District Governor Ingrid Brown and PDG Julia Phelps present Steve and 6 others with Foundation awards for service. District Governor Steve May installs his 12 Assistant District Governors as master of ceremonies PDG Thomas R. Elliott looks on. Passing some pins on. Steve passes his Governor Elect pin on to Subbiah Doraiswami and Doug Mercurio presented Steve with a Rotary watch. The watch was presented by the North Reading club as a gift to Steve as the new District Governor. On the far left Steve awaits the District Gavel as it is passed down the line from Past District Governors.
Past District Governor and the President of the Rockport Club, Ingrids home club, pass the Governors home club banner on to Doug Mercurio from the North Reading, Steve's home club. So who was there from North Reading? LtoR Bottom: Shannon Moynihan, Mary Ellen Carr, Steve May, Joe Scianatico; Rear LtoR: Priscilla Gottwald, Eric Evans, Mike Linnane,Doug Mercurio, Dave O'Neil, Peter Majane and Debbie Birkmaier. Some thing must have been good they are all smiling.
