It should also be noted that many other organizations and individuals in the town of North Reading donate to the food pantry every year. One of those organizations, which the North Reading Rotary Club has a strong relationship with, is the North Reading High School. This year the school through the efforts of the Student Councel and Mrs. Giordano collected and donated more food this year than last. The school even called back, after the initial donation, to let the food pantry know they had more items to donate. Under the direction of the Principal Jon Bernard they are even thinking of adopting an addition month to make collections.
