Our new President Joe Scianatico, Vice President at the Reading Cooperative Bank, may be seen at the far left in the bottom row. Joe was one of 46 new Rotary Club Presidents who were officially installed on June 30th. These 46 dedicated individuals will officially take the reins of their respective clubs on July 1, 2009 and serve as their President until June 30, 2010.

THE CLUB PRESENTS THREE SCHOLARSHIPS
AT OUR REGULAR MEETING ON WEDNESDAY AUGUST 19TH THE CLUB PRESENTED THREE $ 1,000.00 SCHOLARSHIPS TO THREE SENIORS FROM THE NORTH READING HIGH SCHOOL'S GRADUATING CLASS OF 2009.

CLUB MAKES DONATION TO
FOOD PANTRY

On September 9th, the North Reading Rotary Club was pleased to deliver an abundance of wish list items to the North Reading Food Pantry.
"Actively being involved with the purchasinmg and delivering of items made a big impact on the Rotarians' realizing there are many local families going through difficult times," said Rotary Club President Joe Scianatico. "We hope our efforts make a difference."
For eight weeks< Rotarians brought in items on the Food Pantry's wish list to their weekly meetings at the Hill View Country Club. Afetr the meeting on the 9th the Rotarians, pictured above, delivered the items to the Food Pantry at the Town Hall.
Our District Governor makes her
Official Visit

Rotarians everywhere and they are all smiles. As you can see both clubs are
really enjoying themselves and having a good time.

Let us not forget the School Administration who listen as the
North Reading Coach speaks. Jon Bernard (center) is
listening to his coach with a great deal of pride. It also appears
that the North Reading coach may have the Lynnfield coach
really wondering about the game.
Our own Steve May and soon to be
District Governor meets the Rotary International President
On January 13th, while attending his last segment of official training to become our District Governor in SanDeigo in January, Steve had the opportunity to meet the new President of Rotary International Ray Klinginsmith and his wife.
